[ An immediate response, nearly, follows. Though a little clearer than over the PA system, the Transmitter's line is still obscured with distortion and feedback. ]

Hi, Gracious. What's up?

[barehands]

I wanted to see how you were doing today! And to ask you a few things, if I could.

[transmittable]

Oh. ...Uh, well, we're...fine? We guess. You can ask whatever you want, and we'll see if we can answer it.

[barehands]

Are you sure? You sound a little uncertain...

[But she moves on after that.]

I was wondering if there was a chance to get more clothes. It was nice of you to give us a second outfit, but I don't think it suits me very well.

[transmittable]

Nope, no can do. ...Try the vending machine, though. It's got a...wide collection of prizes. Including clothes.

[barehands]

Okay! Thank you for the tip, Transmitter.

The other thing I was wondering... It seems like a lot of people took knives from the kitchen because they're kind of nervous about things here. Is there any way we could get some extra?

[transmittable]

...People took knives, probably for dangerous reasons, and you want me to give you more of them?

[barehands]

[She pauses, before letting out a self conscious laugh.]

It sounds really bad when you put it like that, doesn't it? It's just, um, we need something to cook with if any more of them get taken...

[ Surprisingly, the Transmitter laughs right back. ]

Look, I get you. But the answer's also gonna have to be no. I've been keeping a watch on you guys, though, and it looks like Courageous has...well, she's got some ideas to deal with the situation. I think you'll get them back.

[barehands]
