[His voice is pretty calm, surprisingly.]

[ Kogami receives a quick reply. It's full of feedback and static, as he's heard on the PA system, and a good deal of distortion, but it's nothing like the adventure from Tuesday. In fact, you can probably hear her a little clearer. She matches his calm. ]

[Good, he's glad. He was hoping he'd get a response. It's also easier to get a feel for who he's talking to this way. Text isn't exactly ideal, but it worked initially. Just not anymore.]

What's going on that you can't provide things?

[His voice is curious, not interrogating here.]

You seemed rather kind to help us, then you're suddenly pulling back.

As the 'Transmitter', I'm taking it you're the kind and softhearted of the bunch of you, am I correct? They have to do something to make you stop, or perhaps a different person is speaking when we get different and contradictory answers.

It's... Some things aren't available to me. Especially if they're...nicer. I was able to for awhile, just a few things. Confident's hairspray for one. You HAVE been talking to me, besides...that mess of a Tuesday. But I'm... let's say I'm the one who can understand you guys best. I'm the one who's able to...relate best.

[Kogami is silent for a moment as if trying to process this.]

Relate, how? As in you're the most 'human' or that you've been in a situation like this before?

May I take it that you never intended for someone to be murdered despite the rules setting it up so it would without a doubt happen?

It was something that I knew was a possibility. A- a likelihood, really. But... I wished otherwise. It's not a requirement for our goals, but there's little you can do when you're one of...a collective.

[ Seems she's zeroing in on one question more than the others. ]

[He won't repeat the first question. Instead, he's focusing on how he can tell she's speaking to him and the stutters. Getting information from her that she's unknowingly giving him. Or at least trying.]

You keep mentioning a collective and it's clear you're bound to this 'collective'. You're also taking responsibility to your actions for things you're telling us and then having to take them back.

Like you're bound to the rules some way yourself. I understand that much. There's only so much you can do while being watched.

[There's a chuckle in his end.]

I suppose I should be thanking you for attempting to be kind to me, then. There's not that many people who would try, but positions mean nothing here, anyway.

I'm glad you understand. I...thought I was on the same level as them, but. Well, to hell with that, right?

[ She sounds bitter. ]

I'll continue to do all I can for you, and...make no mistake, my goals are still what I'm focusing on, but, still.

I'd say they've lost their heads if they do have faith in me, but I'm guess it's more due to my ability than anything else.
