If you'd like to ask the Transmitter something over text, go right ahead! The Transmitter will respond to texts messages as soon as she's available. You will likely get a text back very quickly.

you know, most people send texts in short bursts, not whole novels. just fyi.
1) you should probably expect frequent blizzards. that's just how this area is. it won't let up, we can assure you of that.
2) if there are any cameras, you can't see them. was that vague enough? alright, alright, there are no cameras. we can see you through a different method. any attempts to ask about that will be met with your favorite response, though.

3) the titles were crafted during a joint-session between both of us. the risen and the transmitter created them together, after much thought.
4) nothing more can be told to you about the risen.
who do you think the receiver is? i'm interested to hear your thoughts.
5) i know everything about you. or at least, i knew everything about you. we did. a lot of things about histories and pasts are jumbled up. did you notice we mixed up a title? it's like that. while we may have known everything, it's hard to keep it straight. some of it might not even exist.
we have a vague idea for you. the more we think on you, the more it can be retrieved, but it's still difficult to focus on. does that make sense?
6) alright i'm going to rip the bandage off and say i only know sudoku and tetris. the others are popular where you grew up? i haven't even heard of them.

...Just kidding, of course. I'll do my best to maintain brevity, if it suits you. Most of my texts are actually emails, so I tend to default to letter format. That's more of a Japanese phone thing.
So, in the interest of cutting to the chase:
Thank you, thank you, thank you but I'm astounded by the creativity, thank you and for now I think it could be someone on the Risen side for one "frequency" and us on another (and one may make a speculative case for you being more of a Transceiver than a transmitter), it does make sense and I did notice but it sounds like the process of getting that information was far from seamless and I'm curious as to what you mean by "some of it may not exist," Kakuro is like a combination between a Sudoku and a crossword while Hitori basically begins like a completed Sudoku and you have to cross out numbers instead of leaving them in (it's short for "Hitori ni shite kure" which is Japanese for "leave me alone"). If there's a way for me to send you pictures I'd love to make you a quick Kakuro and explain the rules if you'd like to try your hand.
I agree with your​ sentiment, to a point. In that, I think those things should give you strength, and sometimes they do in unexpected or unorthodox ways. But thank you for your thoughts on the matter. You don't have to worry about my guard, but it seems counterproductive to bite the hand that's feeding me, to use a metaphor.

we thank you for the praise, but we're sure not all of you would share that opinion. about the titles. it was honestly kind of fun, though it took some thinking.
transceiver makes sense but transmitter is what we're going with. it fits in special ways.
"may not exist" information we can't answer. we don't know if we could even explain it.
both of those sound interesting. a bit of a headache, but interesting. i'm a bit more for simpler games, honestly. maybe they just sound complicated because i've never tried them.
we suppose that makes sense. that hand is also caging you, but it is feeding you. does that make sense? metaphors were never our strong suit.

The distinction of a Transmitter over a Transceiver is interesting, and I'll have to consider the implications of that a bit.
If you can't answer it, that's one thing, but I assure you, if it's a matter of me believing it, I've seen quite a few unbelievable things over the past few weeks.
As for the games, I think that once you start working with them they become far easier to wrap your head around. Sudoku is only so popular because it's easy to get into, but when you look at one for the first time, it's difficult to know where to begin.
I'm a fan of brain teasers. Not necessarily something that requires you to think five steps ahead, but games where it's necessary to think about the implications of your moves and adjust your game plan accordingly.
Tetris is very much like that. Perhaps less so than something like chess, but, you understand the idea.
But yes, that metaphor made perfect sense. I got your point entirely.

mostly we don't feel comfortable talking about our reasoning because some of it is colored by things you may not remember? trying to talk with people about things they do or don't remember is a difficult and slippery slope. we're interested in hearing your reasoning, though.
it's less that we don't think you would believe it and more that we don't know how to begin explaining. also yes, we can't answer it. that probably should've been what we said first.

Things I may not remember? If that's the case, perhaps there may actually be something to Assertive's theory, after all; while my theory was more along the lines of a synonym for learned, she had suggested that perhaps I had been "assimilated" into a particular set of circumstances, after my experiences during my spring break. And while I do think that there's something to that idea, I don't think I've been involved with those circumstances too much; certainly not to the level of familiarity necessary to consider myself "assimilated". However, if I HAVE been involved, and I simply don't remember them for one reason or another, that's a different story...
Though, that brings up a different idea. Are people prone to waking up here not realizing that there are things they have forgotten? Obviously the circumstances of getting here are part of a sort of memory gap, but if that memory gap extends further than any of us have realized, it may even explain the discrepancy with the ages in the profiles...though, in cases like Asgore's, that would be QUITE a big memory gap, so that may be a bit off the mark...
Not to mention, the age on my profile is accurate, so I'm not sure if my memory gap is quite large enough that I would be missing what would inevitably be quite a long period.
Something to stew over, I suppose, since I think I may be starting to get what you can and can't clarify.
Most people are only familiar with single-player Tetris, but have you ever played it against anyone in the Risen competitively? I've played a bit in the arcades, but the entire game changes when you add the element of competition into the mix.
Have you ever done any programming of your own, Transmitter-san?

yeah, like we said, it's complicated, and unless people ask about it we don't really want to go blabbing about memory problems and all that. even then we won't be telling anyone things, because we're not sure we can even keep them straight. usually memories like this resolve themselves. we're sorry for this whole mess.
we will stress that everything on those profiles is accurate to our knowledge. whatever that implies, you have to be the judge.
playing against the risen? oh god, no, they wouldn't even know where to start. they're a little hopeless with technology. i've only ever done single-player.
and once again, oh GOD no. i play around with computers. i don't program them. while the risen may be hopeless with technology, i'm not a genius.
